West Bank (1985 Dinamic Software (Spain))
Disassembly

Introduction
I discovered West Bank fairly late I think, I can remember playing Bank Panic at the arcades in Southend (and loving it!), but I didn’t realise it was the same game given the name change for the release on the ZX Spectrum.
I don’t actually recall buying it either, I think it might even have been on a magazine cover tape perhaps, but I do remember that I played it to death!
The arcade version is HARD, and well, the ZX Spectrum version is too - but it’s definitely easier to play (IMO the rules are a little more complex what with the in-game bandit draw countdown, and having to figure out that you need to shoot the bandits with white boots twice…) Anyways, it’s so much fun - and I love the duelling sub-game so much, that I’ve made a Phaser based version of it, available in the Projects Phaser section.
